The Worse Type of Bailout

  Cheer up, Obama is a 4 year wonder, this generation has found it's Carter, and will learn spend and tax is no way to run a country. Checks and balances must be there to make our way of life work. Simply throwing billions at something isn't the answer.

  Wow, I said BILLIONS,  when I was growing up in the 60's, a million was this unheard of amount of money, people hushed, whispered the amount, it was so huge, and as I got older I saw how the million is now the hundred thousand then. Today it is billions they throw around and the TRILLION is the huge hush word! This president has spent more money in his first 2 months then all the other presidents have in their first 2 months combined!

  This spending is out of hand, and must stop. Our great great great great grand children will be paying the interest for today's mistakes. This can't happen if we are to remain a viable country. We are not only the laughing stock of the world, the countries are lining up to take advantage of the Obama lottery!

  More like an OBAMA-NATION!  It is sad we the people have no say so. Wait we did, we elected this president. We should have known when he said he would have Hilliary as his SoS, this man was not all together between the ears. She has no pull, the countries out there want to see her husband, not her. 

  I hope and pray we can maintain our country for the remaining 3 years. Jimmy Carter caused our country many problems, double digit inflation, interest rates were at the highest ever, and JC was taxing anything, and everything. Obama appears to be in this mold.

  Having no experience with foreign policy, he is taking other countries at their word and finding out he shouldn't, but it is too late. They got what they wanted, and now Obama is learning we got nothing in return. Our friends (we said we'd support and defend against the criminals of this world,) like Polland, and Czechoslovakia, friendly nations that supported us in Iraq are cast aside for Puttin's BS.The missle program we promised them is scrapped, why? There is no reason other then this president is out ot destroy our image and make sure we are seen as back stabbing fools.

  This president needs to have restraint. The congress is going to have to control this president like they did Carter, or we'll be completely broke and with an outlook bleaker then the 70's. Fearing what this president does is not the answer. Being proactive and  letting him know he is to go no further socialism wise. No more bail outs without congressional approval and checks and balances. If we don't put a stop to this now, we may never be able to get ourselves out of this mess. It's amazing what power does to a human being. Obama had a chance to make this world a better place, and so far all he has done is make it a much more unsafe place to be, and very costly to our future.

  Our fore fathers are rolling in their graves. Obamaism, like Carterism, is not the answer. We need a booster shot of freedom and nationalism. Where are the hero's? Who will save the day? Where's our caped crusader? Wait this is reality and there is no fairy tale ending, we need sound fiscal advice and leadership from Mr Obama, not what we're seeing. The friendly nations are shying away and the enemies are lining up the deceptions. Hugo wants some, Ahmadinejad wants some, even N. Korea's  Kim Jong-il got Bill Clinton to visit and take pictures with the enemy to get western people released.

  The scam will only get bigger, Obama is in over his head and there is no quick fix left for him. He either learns foreign policy, or we all lose our rights and freedoms when Obama gives them away. Personally I served my country for 20 years to help prevent this from ever happening, and I retired 12 years ago, only to see what is happening now. I am no socialist, I'm a free man, and like all my other countrymen, I wish to remain that way.

Just A Discouraged American

To anyone who cares,

I am just your average american.  It seems to be that the average american doesn't know what to believe.  The media, politicans, the other powers to be can all lie, twist or just spin anything they want. 

We in the middle don't know what the hell to believe anymore.  We just want to get on with our lives and families.  We want what everyone wants which is to be able to provide for our families and live a descent life.

But at the same time we are seeing the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.  I like Obama personally and don't believe any president intends to hurt the people he governs, but bailing out billionaires and such who have obviously mishandled their wealth out of greed only lets the billionaires to walk away with all that money and is another kick in the gut for the average American.  I heard that it was necessary so the economy wont get worse, but someone needs to turn their attention to the sinking ship the rest of us Americans are in.  It time to help us...

The same for local governments.  I live in California and I thought when I voted for Arnold that he would be a man of the people since he was not a politician.  But somehow he has mis-manged or allowed to be mismanged the state's resources that now he is taxing everything that moves, cutting much needed programs and really making the quality of life and happiness of the average citizen to be its lowest I can remember.

This is not how we are supposed to live.  For as long as I can remember it has been this way.  We put our hope in a new president or governor only for them to be a carbon copy of the last.  They end up hurting us and dissapointing us and taxing us until we can barely feed our families. 

Is this the curse of politics?  Is this what we will always have to live with?  Is it the nature of the beast and we will just have to suffer in direct relation to how bad our politicans are?

All I can say is that it is sad that the dissapointment only repeats itself while the average american tries to be a good and loyal American.  It seems that our ability to shape our countries future is as futile as our attempt to understand what is really happening to us.

But we can only take so much and I can tell you that the moral of the average american is at one of its lowest points.  We try to be patient and work hard and keep faith in the American way, but the abuses by the powers to be have become so blarring that even those of us that understand the least about the process can see it.  I suppose there is no power on earth that can turn the tide of greed.  People with billions only want more, when the average american only wants to make it another day.

If I am wrong about what I have said, please do not send me negative comments...remember I am just an average American who is purposely kept confused.
